Research progress of the roles of lncRNAs in bone development

摘要: [摘要] 长链非编码RNA(Long noncoding RNAs,lncRNAs)是指长度大于200 nt、缺少开放阅读框(ORFs)的非编码RNA,其占非编码RNA的很大比例。长链非编码RNA在表观遗传、转录、翻译以及蛋白质修饰过程中发挥重要的调控作用, 从而广泛地参与包括细胞分化、个体发育等在内的重要生命过程。同时越来越多的研究发现它也与人类某些重要疾病发生和发展密切相关。该文综述了lncRNAs在骨发育中的作用。

Abstract: Long non-coding RNAs(lncRNAs) refer to the non-coding RNAs which exceed 200nt in length and lack open reading frames, and they account for a significant proportion of non-coding RNAs. LncRNAs play an important role in regulating the process of epigenetics, transcription, translation and protein modification, thus they widely participate in some important life processes including cell differentiation, individual development and so on. At the same time, more and more studies have found that lncRNAs are also closely related to the occurrence and development of some important human diseases. In this paper, the roles of lncRNAs in bone development will be reviewed.
