Abstract: [Abstract] Objective To study the effect of artificial bone powder after maxillary sinus lift on dental osseointegration. Methods 130 patients undergoing maxillary sinus lift surgery from January 2015 to January 2016 in the Department of Stomatology, Rugao People's Hospital of Jiangsu Province were selected and randomly divided into observation group and control group , 65 cases each. The artificial bone powder was implanted into the control group after the operation. The artificial bone powder was not implanted in the observation group after the surgery. The effect of both on the height of the internal elevation and the postoperative osseointegration was compared. Results In the 6 months and 1 years after operation, the average elevation in the control group was both higher than that in the observation group, but there was no significant difference between the two groups (P>0.05). The average elevation of the two groups after 1 years was higher than that of 6 months after the operation, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The implant survival rates were 100.00% for both two groups. All patients underwent X-ray examination of the implants showed no shadow of the root of the implant, maxillary sinusitis. Postoperative X-ray examination of the two groups showed that there was new bone around the implant, and bone consolidation was better. Conclusion After the elevation of the maxillary sinus, no matter whether artificial bone powder was implanted or not, the success rate of planting was higher. There was no significant difference in the internal elevation height of artificial bone powder without artificial bone powder implantation, and it could reduce the medical expenses of patients. It is worth promoting.
