Abstract

Abstract: Abstract：MTA (Mineral Trioxide Aggregate) is a widely used retrograde filling material in endodontics.It not only has good biocompatibility,good sealing ability,but also is antibacterial and hard tissue conductive.But it has two weeknesses:long setting time and inconvenience in operation.In recent years, there are a lot of studies of new fast setting calcium silicate-based retrograde filling materials aiming to shorten the setting time of MTA. This paper is a review on progresses in these new retrograde filling materials.
