Abstract: Abstract: The rapid development of chairside CAD/CAM material provides the clinicians with more options to do rehabilitation treatment. Those types of blocks are mainly divided into the following categories：traditional glassceramic，reinforced glassceramic，hybrid material，zirconia and PMMA. With the aid of digital technology, it is possible to fabricate traditional single tooth restoration, threeunit bridge, and also the implant surgical guide and implant supported fixed restoration. This article presents the characteristics and the latest development of chairside CAD/CAM materials.
