Abstract: Cone-beam computed tomography(CBCT)is an emerging oral imaging technology. It is widely used in dental practice due to its low radiation dose,non-distorted image and high spatial resolution. Compared with traditional imaging technology, CBCT has a greater advantage in observation of complex and periapical lesions, diagnosis of omissive root canal, root fractures, root canal perforation, assisting dredging calcified root canal and judging the efficacy of root canal therapy. It is of great help to clinical diagnosis and treatment if CBCT can be made full use in endodontics.
