Abstract: Abstract: Clinically, mechanical stimulation is an important factor in enhancing the bone regeneration and remodeling, and mechanical-induced bone reconstruction is the critical biological basis of distraction osteogenesis, bone defect restoration and orthodontic tooth movement. BMPs, as the key signaling molecule in the regulation of bone development, play a significant role in the occurrence and regeneration of bone tissue. It has been shown that the activation of BMP signaling could promote the expression of osteogenic-related genes and induce bone formation. This paper will summary the research progress of BMP signaling pathway in mechanically induced osteogenic differentiation.
