Application of virus transfection technology in the research on bone cells

Abstract: With the development of viral gene delivery techniques, much attention has been attracted on the therapy of bone metabolism diseases via bone cells transfection. In this review, recent progresses about viral vector transfection of bone cells have been summarized, which provides precious reference for the selection of the most appropriate technique of bone cells transfection. Furthermore, it can provide valuable research means for the illustration of the metabolic and regulatory mechanism behind the bone cells.
