Abstract: Fracture healing is a complex physiological and pathological process and the typical fracture healing process contains inflammatory phase, cartilage formation phase, woven bone formation and remodeling phase. The process is regulated by multiple factors, among which the biological factors play a significant role. Understanding the mechanism of fracture healing and influencing factors can help reduce or avoid the occurrence of nonunion, which will provide a new path for clinical treatment of severe bone traumatic diseases.
