Abstract: Abstract:Platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) is a platelet concentrated product prepared by extracting the autologous blood, which is regarded as a biomaterial that promotes the tissue healing due to its three-dimensional structure, abundance in platelet as well as a high concentration of growth factors. In recent years, it has been widely employed in the restoration of oral soft and hard tissue defect. This paper discusses the role of PRF in the regeneration of oral soft and hard tissue, objectively evaluates its efficacy, to provide a reference for the proper application of PRF by dentists.
