Abstract: At present the clinical treatment of wedge-shaped defect is mainly restorative treatment while problems of filling material shedding, micro leakage, dentine hypersensitivity, secondary caries occurred easily. According to the problems above new technology and materials continuously appear. This paper provides a brief review of the research development of restorative treatment for wedge-shaped defect, and provides reference for dentists.
