Abstract: Hyperlipidemia is a common systemic metabolic disease that often occurs in the elderly people with a high incidence. It is one of the risk factors for implant treatment, which can cause poor implant osseointegration, and, in turn, affect the clinical efficacy of implant denture. In this paper, advances in the effects of hyperlipidemia on osseointegration of titanium implants are reviewed.
