Abstract

Abstract: Guided Tissue Regeneration (GTR) technique is the major treatment method of the reconstruction and regeneration of periodontium. Bioabsorbable barrier membrane is widely used in GTR technique for its admirable biological characteristics and clinical handling properties. This article aims to review properties of various materials of bioabsorbable membrane, and those research progress in periodontal regeneration.
