Abstract: Abstract: Objective To analyze the curative effect of modified pendulum appliance on maxillary molar distalization. Methods 20 cases of odontogenic angle class Ⅱ malocclusion patients were selected using modified pendulum appliance to achieve maxillary molar distalization.Measurement and analysis of model cephalometrics were made before and after treatment. Results For 4-6 months, the average molar distalization on both sides was 5 mm,which guaranteed enough clearance. Conclusions Modified pendulum appliance is an economical and convenient maxillary molar distalization device with reliable curative effects.
