Abstract: A metal framework with individual crowns has distinctive advantages as a new technique for implant-supported fixed prosthesis of edentulous jaws. This clinical report presents one case of the implant-supported fixed rehabilitation for upper and lower edentulous jaws with severe alveolar ridge atrophy using this technique, which has acquired satisfactory effects. The technique of a metal framework with individual crowns is able to solve the problems of severe alveolar ridge atrophy and to screw access holes exposed on lip-buccal sides, possessing both functions and esthetics.
