Abstract: In recent years, with the concept of minimally invasive surgery gradually gaining popularity, endocrown has been favored by many doctors as a simple and fast repair method after root canal treatment, because it can retain more tooth tissues without excessively cutting healthy dentin. The strength of endocrown is very important to survival rate of teeth. Therefore, a series of experiments were conducted by scholars at home and abroad to study the fracture strength of endocrown. In this paper, factors influencing the fracture strength of endocrown were reviewed, including materials, preparation methods, length of the pulp chamber extension and thickness of the prosthesis crown, in order to provide some clinical reference for dental restoration after root canal treatment.
