Regional odontodysplasia:a case report

Abstract: Regional odontodysplasia is an unusual developmental anomaly in which ectodermal and mesodermal tooth components are affected.We present a rare case of regional odontodysplasia or hamely“ghost teeth”.The anomaly affected teeth are right maxillary permanent teeth,but the mandibular teeth are unaffected.The clinical and radiographic features are reviewed.The therapeutic method of affected patients is discussed.
