Abstract: Abstract：Objectives This research used training muscle therapy (MFT method) to treat a case of maxillary protrusion to get rid of bad oral habits and further evaluate the clinical effects of MFT method. Method We chose a patient with maxillary protrusion who visited Orthodontic Clinic of Okayama University. The patient agreed to participate in this study. Result After treatment, the maxillary protrusion was improved obviously and the original joint elastic clicking disappeared. Conclusion MFT training method has important clinical significance for maxillary protrusion caused by insufficient oral muscle strength, tongue sucking and so on.
