Abstract: Objective To observe the clinical effect of the application of orthodonticimplant sequential treatment for longterm first molar defect. Methods Orthodontic methods were adopted, including erecting tipped tooth, lowering overerupted tooth, redistributing space of denture to regain enough space for implant restoration. Results Satisfactory esthetic and functional results were achieved for all the cases. Conclusions These results suggest that orthodonticimplant sequential treatment for restoration of patients with longterm first molar defect is necessary and optimal results can be obtained.
