Abstract: Neuropilin-1(NRP-1) is a transmembrane glycoprotein that acts as a co-receptor.And it is adjusted by miR - 9,miR - 124,miR - 181 - b,miR - 320,and it participates in the above cytokine signaling pathways, which is closely related with tumor angiogenesis and metastasis.Preliminary studies that show NRP-1 expression on T cells confers enhanced immunosuppressive activity. Some suggest a specific role for NRP-1 in cancer pathology. This article reviews current Knowledge on the structure and function of NRP-1,as well as its research status.

Key words: Neuropilin-1, oral cancer, therapeutic target
