Advances in the effect of titanium surface microtopography on osteoblast behavior and its molecular mechanism

Abstract: Abstract: With its osseointegration characteristic,titanium is considered to be the most suitable material for oral implants.However,as an inert metal,the biological activity of titanium is inadequate.In order to obtain better and faster osseointegration,titanium surface micro-topography has been changed by a variety of surface modification techniques to improve its biological activity and osteogenic ability.To figure out the internal molecular mechanism of surface modification promoting osseointegration,lots of studies home and abroad have also been undertaken.In this paper,advances in the effect of titanium surface micro-topography on osteoblast behavior and its molecular mechanism were reviewed.
