Abstract

Abstract: Smart hydrogels, also known as environmental responsive hydrogels, have the ability to sense certain signals and stimuli in the external environment, including temperature, pH value, biomolecules, electricity, light and pressure.The special physical and chemical properties of these materials make them have great potential in the application of controlled release of drugs in vivo.In this artical, the structure and properties of different response types of intelligent hydrogels and their applications in drug controlled release systems are reviewed.
