Efficacy of minocycline hydrochloride ointment in the treatment of pericoronitis

Abstract: Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of hydrochloride minocycline ointment in the treatment of pericoronitis. Methods 200 cases of mandibular pericoronitis patients were randomly divided into test group (A), and the control group (B). Two groups of conventional were rinsed by saline plus hydrogen peroxide, A group were coated hydrochloride minocycline ointment; iodine glycerin coated to B group. Results A group have a better effect than B group. Conclusion Minocycline hydrochloride ointment was used in the treatment of pericoronitis which effectively improve the clinical symptoms and get a better clinical outcome.
